These last couple of months the world has changed. Everything that we thought we were in control of, every routine we had, every behaviour, every bit of ambition, every plan–it all changed and in a remarkably small period of time.
What COVID-19 has given us is an earth shattering reminder about how fragile life is. It’s also proven how the systems we have in place throughout our society are far from perfect and have been seriously underfunded. The coronavirus may have changed the world in a lot of ways but for many, business and life must go on. If this period has taught us anything, it’s just how fragile our lives and the systems around us are. When brought to a stop, we’re all left looking for answers and a way of coping with a new reality.
This is why we've chosen to donate proceeds from every policy arranged to NHS Charities Together and will continue to do so after the current crisis ends.
NHS Charities Together is a collective experience representing, supporting and championing the work of the NHS’ official charities. NHS Charities give £1million a day to the NHS, providing vital funds to help the NHS do more.
There are similarities to the shock of losing a loved one. When grief alone is enough to shake a person’s world, the realisation of what comes next can be crushing.
Without the right preparations and plans, the people that are left behind could be the ones that suffer the most.
